There were also sports and competitions held on the ground, ; everybody enjoying themselves. In the I evening the good work was continued ; by the holding of a fancy dress dance I in the Parish Hall, where the largest i assembly yet seen in Takanini con- ! gregated to make merry till the mid - ; night hour.
