The Hauturu is bar-bound at Hokianga, but it is hoped that she will clear there to-day for Onehunga. If she arrives tomorrow morning, she will be dispatched at 4 p.m the same day for Raglan, Kawhia and Waikato. The Ngapuhl arrives at Onehunga tomorrow morning from New Plymouth and sails at 3 p.m. on Thursday on her return trip. MAIZE FROM AFRICA.—The Shaw, SaviU and Albion steamer Mafiia, which left London for Australian ports on September 3, called at Capetown afterward and loaded a large quantity of African maize for Auckland. The vessel is due at Melbourne next Tuesday and at Auckland about the middle of November.

The Wairaea, which sails from Auckland at 5 P-m. to-day for Gisborne and Napier, returns here next Sunday. The Waipiata is to leave? Dunedin today, via Oamaru, Timaru and Wellington, for Auckland and is due here earlv next week. The Waipori, which arrived at Lyttelton on Sunday, is expected to leave this afternoon for Auckland direct, where she is due on Friday. The Kaimanawa was to dear Westport this morning for Auckland and is due here on Friday. After discharge here, the vessel returns to the coal port. The Kanna, from We3t Coast ports, via Wellington, left Napier at 10 p.m. yesterday for Auckland and is due here tomorrow'. After discharge at* Auckland, the Kanna proceeds to to load cement for New Plymouth and West Coast ports. The Wingatui is now fixed to sail from .Auckland at noon to-morrow for Wellington. Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru.

The Kaitangata is expected to leave Auckland at 3*» o’clock to-night for Westport, where she is to load for ports not yet fixed. The Mataroa arrived at Port Chalmers yesterday from Auckland to complete her discharge of London cargo and to commence her loading. The Epsom should leave Port Chalmers to-morrow for Auckland, and is due here toward the end of this week.
