EDENDALE CINEMA

TWO BIG FILMS The safe convoy of 2,000,000 American soldiers across “the bridge of ships” the Navy built during the war is

memorialised in “Convoy,” Robert Kane’s dramatic epic of the navy, to be shewn tonight at the Edendale Cinema, with an all-star cast, including Dorothy Mackaill, Lawrence Gray, Buster Collier. lan Keith, and Lowell Sherman.

Western pictures and mystery pictures belong to different families. Still, in “Flashing Spurs,” the gripping Bob Custer production which will also be shown to-night at Edendale, the mystery of a girl who plays a dual role provides the breath-taking suspense! Bob Custer, the star, fresh from the Texas plains, finds picture acting not unlike his real experiences as a Texas Ranger. “Flashing Spurs” gives him ample opportunity to display his knowledge of the West, where men are fighters. The pieture is jampacked with thrills.

The Warner mystery comedy, “Wolf’s Clothing,” which had such a successful season at the Roxy Theatre, New York, will be released by Master Picfures shortly. Monte Blue, whose popularity grows with every pieture, is starred, and is supported by Patsy Ruth Miller, John Miljan, Lee Moran, and Douglas Gerrard.
