ROTORUA TENNIS CLUB
GOOD SEASON AHEAD A meeting of the Management Committee of the Rotorua Tennis Club was held on Friday, Mr. W. Sumner presiding. The secretary reported a good response from members to join the club should the facilities of private courts leased from the Tourist Department eventuate. Arrangements were made for the Christmas open championship and handicap tournament to be held on December 26, 27 and 28. Entries close with the secretary on December 24. The club captain and secretary were empowered to make arrangements re opening day. The date of same was left in abeyance pending consultation with the head gardener, Mr. Hesketh.
