The Gunbar is to sail from Auckland tonight for Gisborne and Napier, via bays. The Kaitangata arrived at Auckland this morning from West Coast pores, via Wellington and Napier and berthed at the Prince’s Wharf. It is doubtful if this vessel can be dispatched this evening on her return trip to Westport. The Kaimanawa is to leave Westport this afternoon for Auckland, where she is due on Thursday. After discharge here the vessel returns to the coal port. The W r aipiata is expected to leave Dunedin. this evening, via Oamaru, Timaru and Wellington, for Auckland. . The W'aimea arrived at Auckland this morning from Napier and sails at 4 o’clock to-morrow afternoon on her return trip to Gisborne and Napier. The Waipori, which is loading at Lyttelton to-day for Auckland only, is due here about Friday. The Kanna, from West Coast ports, via Wellington, arrived at Napier at 7 o’clock this; morning and leaves late to-night tor Auckland. She is due here on Wednesday and after discharge here proceeds to Portland to load cement for New Plymouth and W r est Coast ports. The Wingatui is now sailing from Auckland at 10 o’clock to-morrow night for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru. The Kaituna has been fixed to load at Lyttelton toward the end of this week for Auckland. The Westport Coal Company s collier Canopus is to leave Auckland at 5 p.m. to-day for W r estport. The Kurow sailed from here on Saturday afternoon for Wellington, Dunedin and Bluff. . . The City of Batavia is to leave Dunedin to-morrow for Tasmanian ports to complete her discharge. The Epsom arrived at Dunedin yesterday from Bluff, and should sail to-mor-row for Auckland. The Kent is to sail from Dunedin tomorrow for New Plymouth to land the balance of her Liverpool cargo. The Kia Ora, in continuation of her voyage! from Liverpool, leaves Auckland at 3 p.m. to-morrow for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. The Mataroa is due at Port Chalmers to-day from Auckland to complete discharge of her London cargo. The Somerset arrived at Bluff! yesterday from Dunedin, and completes discharge of her Liverpool cargo, and commences loading for her return trip. The W r est Islip arrived at New Plymouth this morning from Bluff, and, after discharge, returns to the Pacific Coast to load again for New Zealand.

WESTMORELAND TO COMPLETE.The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Federal steamer Westmoreland leaves Wellington to-morrow for Auckland, where she is due next Thursday to complete her loading. She is to be dispatched finally from Auckland on Saturday, October 8, for London via Panama. MIDDLESEX TO LOAD.—Now at Timaru loading, the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Federal steamer Middlesex! leaves on Friday for Auckland, and is due here on October 10 to lift further cargo. The Middlesex sails again on October 15 for Wellington, where she completes, and finally departs on October 22 for London via Panama. PAKEHA AT WANGANUI. Telegraphic advice states that the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Pakeha arrived at Wanganui at 8.15 a.m. to-day from Newcastle. The vessel commences Homeward loading “there, and later proceeds to Lyttelton, Timaru, Port Chalmers, Bluff and Wellington to complete, sailing finally from the last-mentioned port on October 28 for London via Montevideo and Teneriffe. PORT GISBORNE FROM LONDON. — The C. and ID. Line’s new motor-ship Port Gisborne arrived at Wellington on Saturday evening from London via Suva. The vessel has cargo for discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton and Nelson, after which she will load on the New Zealand Coast for Home. THE CANADIAN SEIGNEUR. —The Canadian Government Agency has been advised by cablegram that the Canadian Seigneur arrived at Montreal at 7.30 a.m. last Monday from Auckland, via New York and Boston. The vessel sailed from Auckland on August 10. GISLA FROM MONTREAL.—The New Zealand Shipping Company reports that the motor-ship Gisla is fixed to sail from Montreal on October 22 with geenral cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, JDunedin, Melbourne and Sydney. TAIROA FOR AUSTRALIA.—News has been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that the Tairoa sailed from London on Thursday afternoon with general cargo for Australian ports. After discharge the vessel will come to New Zealand to load. MARYLAND TO-MORROW MORNING. —According to a further radio message received by the local agents, Messrs. Robert Millar and Company, the tramp steamer Maryland is expected to arrive at Tiri at nine o’clock to-morrow morning. The vessel, which is bringing a cargo of raw sugar from Java, will berth at about eleven o’clock at Chelsea Wharf to discharge at the Colonial Rugar Refining Company’s works. SCHOONER PIR! SAILS.—With a cargo of explosives for discharge at Southern ports, the Nobel auxiliary schooner Piri left Auckland at 10 o’clock this morning for New Plymouth, Westport, Greymouth, Wellington and Dunedin The vessel arrived at Auckland last Wednesday from Melbourne, via Westport tj r eymouth. She is to load produce at Dunedin for Auckland. Awarua.—City of Batavia, Kent, Karetu, Waikouaiti, Sussex. PORT OF ONEHUNGA—DEPARTURES SATURDAY HATJTTJRU (noon), 270 tons, Donovan, for Hokianga. YESTERDAY'S ARRIVALS ARAPAWA (5.30 a.m.), 291 tons, Burk, from Westport. The Ngapuhi, sailing at three o'clock this afternoon for New Plymouth, arrives back again at 7 a.m. on Wednesday morning. The Hauturu, due at Onehunga early to-morrow morning from Hokianga, sails again at 11 a.m. the same day for Raglan, Kawhia and Port Waikato. PACIFIC TRANSPORT REPORTS. — Radio advice rece.ved by Henderson and Macfarlane states that the tramp steamer Pacific Transport is expected to arrive at Auckland at 6 p.m., to-morrow from Nauru Island. MIRO FOR GISBORNE. —The local agent for the Ncbel Explosive Company, C. E. Campbell, advises that the auxiliary ketch Miro is loading explosives a t Tamaki for Gisborne and Napier. She is scheduled to sail for the Coast on Wednesday. CABLE STEAMER RET U RNS.—After having repaired si. fault in the Norfolk Island-Suva portion of the Pacific cable the cable steamer Iris (Captain J r’ Hughes) returned to Auckland this morning and anchored off Devonport. The Iris leit Auckland or Thursday week last September 22, arid arrived at Norfolk Island the following Sunday evening \v ork was commenced next day but or Tuesday the equinoctial gales rendered further operations impossible The Iris anchored off the island for 36 hours, during which time the wind blew stronglv from the south-west, accompanied bv " father had moderated sufficiently, by Thursday morning to permit work being resumed. She is to berth at the Queen’s Wharf and sails again at 11 a.m. next Saturday on her return trip to Fiji, Tonga and Samoa.
