STOLE FOR A WOMAN

YOUNG MAN’S CRIME PROBATION GRANTED JOHN GEORGE DUNNETT, aged 29, who stole clothes from a city firm for a woman with whom he was infatuated, was granted probation today. When he appeared for sentence on seven theft charges at the Police Court the magistrate, Mr. F. K. Hunt, said that the Probation Officer had made a favourable report upon him. Dunnett was placed on probation for two j'ears and ordered to make £43 16s lid restitution.
