NORTH SHORE EXPANSION PLENTY of sympathy, and £3:O, was the outcome of the North Shore Expansion League’s deputation to the Waitemata Power Board this morning. The deputation, which consisted of Mr. E. Aldridge, Mayor of Devonport, and Mr. T. Walsh, chairman of the Waitemata Chamber of Commerce, described the league’s programme to attract population to the North Shore, and claimed that such success as attended that object would be to the great financial advantage of the Power Board.
