Under the heading of ‘‘Hiding in Yorkshire.” the Yorkshire “Observer” has the following reference to Sir James Parr:—“Not only the principal British delegates who were daily at grips with the problem of the Disarmament Conference felt the strain of their five weeks’ labours at Geneva. Sir James Parr, the popular High Commissioner for the New Zealand Government, is at present resting at a secret spot in Yorkshire after representing his Dominion at the conference. In the autumn he intends to pay a long-de-ferred visit to Nottingham, where his family lived before seeking success overseas.”
