Casualty List

Four players for the Newton team in the League match for the Stormont Shield at Carlaw Park on Saturday were injured. The captain. G. Norman, was taken to hospital suffering from concussion of the brain and a broken jaw, R. Stack, with a fracture of the leg, and YV. Rhodes with a broken collar-bone. Another player, YV. Somers, who sprained his ankle, was taken to his home. All were attended to by the St. John Ambulance and are progressing favourably.
