MORRINSVILLE ORPHANS

ENTERTAIN VISITORS The Morrinsville Orphans’ Club concert on Thursday evening was well patronised, when the club was honoured by a visit from the brethren of the Hamilton Club. The programme, which was bright and attractive, was largely contributed to by the visitors. Bro. N. Day presided. After the singing of the National Anthem, the Morrinsville Club's orchestra plaj'ed two fine selections, and songs were given by Bros. A. Grant, R. Blackie, J. Battersby, H. {Saunders, L. J. Cox (Hamilton), Bros. H. Cocks and G. Cricket t (Morrinsville) gave two euphonium selections. Bro. E. Stevens (Hamilton) contributed piano selections interspersed with anecdot€;s. Bro. Gilbert, on behalf of the Hamilton visitors, thanked the Morrinsville Club tor their cordial welcome. The evening was concluded with the singing of the National Anthem and “Auld Lang Syne.”
