PEDIGREE BULL SALE

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., reports a most successful pedigree bull sale held at Claudelands on September 28 and 29. Two-year-old bulls in the firm’s catalogue brought up to 56gns, this figure being reached for “Marshlands Silver Chief,” sold on account of W. J. Chynoweth. Other 2-Vear-old bulls realised from 35 to 50gris. In yearlings the firm secured the top price of the sale' for a bull sold on account of R. Harper, Otorohanga, “Cloudlands Silver King”—a son of “Holly Oak Gander.” This fine young bull realised 61gns. Other well-grown yearlings made from 25 to 36gns, smaller ditto 13 to 22gnsj 3-year-old bulls 22 to 35gns*
