Mrs. Bailey received the children in a c-harmng frock of leaf brown satin with an Oriental ornament at the waist. She was assisted by Mrs. Oliver, who wore ivory crepe de chine with touches of cerise. Nellie Brown wore a dainty frock of old gold crepe de chine; Rita Simpson, royal blue silk; Joan and Eileen Dallimore, shell pink Eastern silk; Leone and Iris Dove, cream georgette; Iris Patfield, biscuit-coloured crepe de chine; Betty Oliver, floral voile; Shirley Naylor, rose pink crepe de chine; June Gladding, floral frock in pastel shades. Songs, games and competitions added to the merriment of the evening, and prizes were won by Shirley Naylor, Harry Simpson, Tempy Witham and Jack Dallimore.
