“CAMILLE” Norma Talmadge appears in the title role of her unique, modern version of “Camille,” the famous romance of Alexandre Dumas the younger, now being shown at Everybody’s Theatre. The story of the screen “Camille,” while following closely the theme and spirit *of the classical romance, is visualised in settings of the present day. The “Lady of the Cammost celebrated of all the Parisian demi-mondaines, is interpreted b\ -vn.->-Talmadge as a captivating, brilliantly gowned, bobbed haired heartbreaker of the present generation. Desiring to make “Camille” one of the outstanding triumphs in Norma's career, Joseph M. Schenck, who produced the picture for First National release, recruited a notable cast for the modern picturisation of the Dumas classic, and assigned Fred Nibio as director.
