FIRE AT ARCHHILL
TWO HOUSES DAMAGED The interior and contents of a fiveroomed house at 12 Bute Street, Archhill, were damaged by fire about 2.30 this morning. The house, which was owned by Mr. A. Nicholson, was insured for £SOO in the British Traders’ Office, while the contents were insured for £l5O with the same company. A small two-roomed shack nearby had one side badly scorched by the flames. It was insured for £250, also with the British Traders. The City Fire Brigade, turning out promptly, had no difficulty in suppress*ing the outbreak.
