A FAMILY NAME AND A TRAIN MISHAP

THE Currie family was well represented at a collision between a motor-lorry and a train at the Blake Street intersection, Avondale, yesterday afternoon. The engine-driver was Mr. J. Currie. The guard on the train was Mr. W. Currie. Soon after the mishap occurred, the Avondale stationmaster arrived on the scene. He is another Mr. J. Currie. Curiously, the three men are not related.
