Apropos of scarves, frocks made entirely of bordered scarves are having quite a pronounced vogue of their own at Continental resorts. Originally intended for sports wear, their distinctive chic soon gained them an entree to tea dances and drawing rooms. Charmingly artistic colourings include the fashionable pinkish-mauve ground checked in a darker tone, with a hem bordered in deepest rose. The backs of the sleeves of these scarf-gowns have panels to match the hem.
