PAEROA RUGBY UNION An application from the East Club to play a match against Waikino at Waikino on October 8 was grantad at Monday night’s meeting of the Paaroa Rugby Union. It was further resolved to approach the Waihi Union inviting it to send a third grade team to play a curtain-raiser to the Thames Valley v. Auckland match at P&em on Saturday next. The first friendly Society Rugby match of the season is to be played at Cambridge on Saturday next, when the Loyal Jubilee Lodge, M.U., 1.0.&F.. Paeroa, will meet the Loyal Duka of Cambridge Lodge. The following havs been selected to represent the load lodge: D. Snow, J. K. Dean. J. Conollv, C. O’Brien, Williams, H. Grant, McLeod. Pennell, F. Morrow, Saua* ders, Main, B. McGuire, F. Bullock H. Wilton, T. Kilgour. The Cambridge team will comprisai Tucker, Petersen, Dahlberg, Foster. Shaw, Kelly, Morse (2), Hap* ris, Hall, Joyce, Dagg, Tripp. Carson* GOLF The fixture for the Paeroa Lading Golf Club for next Saturday is ;«a L.G.U. monthly medal round, and alw the second round for the best aggregate for a trophy presented by Mo* H.
