WESTMORELAND TO COMPLETE To complete loading for Home the Federal steamer Westmoreland leaves New Plymouth to-day for Wellington and Auckland. The New Zealand Shipping Company expects the vessel to arrive here on October 6, and hopes to dispatch her two days later for London, via Panama. HINEMOA FOR NIUE ISLAND.—At 5 p.m. to-morrow Spedding, Limited, are dispatching the Government. steamer Hinemoa from Auckland for Niue Island with passengers, mails and cargo. She Is expected to return to Auckland on October 15, and sails again on October 18 for Norfolk Island. CANADIAN CHALLENGER SAILING. —After filling up at Southern ports and completing here, the Canadian Government Merchant Marine steamer, Canadian Challenger was to leave Auckland at 2 o’clock this afternoon for Halifax, via .New York and Boston. She aiTived here on September 7 with a general cargo from Montreal, and later proceeded south to Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru:, Dunedin and Bluff to complete discharge and commence loading for the homeward trip. TREMEADOW CLEARS COLON.—A cable message from Colon states the steamer Tremeadow left on Wednesday in continuation of her voyage from New York to Auckland. She is due here on October 23. After putting out the local portion of her cargo, she will complete unloading at Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. HAURAKI COMING.—The local office of the Union Company have been advised that the motor-ship Hauraki sailed from San Francisco last Saturday with Pacific Coast cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. She is expected to arrive at Auckland on October 19. MIDDLESEX LOADING. Leaving Lyttelton to-day for Timaru and Auckland, the Federal steamer Middlesex is due here on October 10 to lift cargo for Home. The New Zealand Shipping Company hopes to dispatch her from this port on October 15 for Wellington, where she completes loading and finaly departs on October 22 for London, via Panama. TUTANEKAI SAILS.—The New Zealand Government lighthouse supply steamer Tutanekai left at half-past six this morning for the Hauraki Gulf and Northern lights. She is to carry out work at Sandspit to-morrow, and returns to Auckland in the evening. She will berth at Central Wharf, and sails again on Monday for Northern and West Coast lighthouses. IRIS DUE MONDAY.—According to a radio message received to-day by the Pacific Cable Board, the cable steamer Iris completed repairs to the Norfolk Island-Suva portion of the cable this morning and sailed on her return trip to Auckland. The vessel left Auckland on September 22, but had to anchor off the island for two days on account of a strong south-wester and high seas preventing repairs being carried out. REMUERA FROM SOUTHAMPTON.— The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Remuera is expected to k:ave Southampton to-day for Wellington, where she is due on November 5 with passengers, mails and cargo. She is expected at Auckland about a week later. RON A SAILS TO-MORROW.—-After completing the discharge of 5,600 tons of raw sugar at the Chelsea works, the Colonial Refinery’s steamer Rona is to leave Auckland at 5 p.m. to-morrow for Sydney to complete discharge. The vessel arrived here on Tuesday morning from Fiji. ATHOLL RADIOS. —The New Zealand Shipping Company have received radio advice stating that the A. and A. Line’s chartered steamer Atholl is expected to arrive at Auckland midnight Sunday front New York. The vessel is bringing cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Wanganui. WELLINGTON - NELSON FERRY SERVICE. —The Anchor Shipping Company have advised the local office of the Union Company, that commencing from Monday next the Arahura and Ngaio will maintain the following time-table between Wellington and Nelson.
