WAIKATO FIXTURE DEMAND FOR GOOD BULLS Bidding slackened towards the close of the second and concluding day of the Waikato combined breeders’ 12th annual pedigree bull sale held yesterda}-. Values generally, were lower than those ruling throughout the first day. Claudelands Silver King, at 61gns, a yearling Jersey, on account R. Harper, Otorohanga, topped the market for the day, passing to J. S. Rae, Taneatua. The average price realised for 102 yearlings and two-year-old Jersey bulls was 22* gns. Young bulls which realised 40gns and over were: G. Taylor’s Green View Rambler, 55gns; Bovill Bros.’ Woodside Cid, 51gns; G. Taylor’s Green View Coral King, 48gns; F. J. Watson’s Nobleman of Bulls, 47gns: J. K. ’Watson’s Meadow Lea Prince. 40gns. Three-year-old bulls sold at from 32gns to 35gns, and a small offering of aged bulls averaged 14gns.
