A COMING MAN

ANE of the best forwards in the North Island League team last Saturday was Timms, the young Waikato

man. Weighing well over 13 stone, this rugged packman made his weight felt in tight and loose alike, and was soon “spotted" by hard and fast followers of the 13 a-side code as a likely man for the next AM Black League team. With players of the calibre of Bert Aver}/ and Delgrosso retiring from the game, it is gratifying to see younger players of class coming on to take their places. ?>-: rk rh rfc
