SENIOR-SERGEANT EDWARDS PRAISED
A FAIR PROSECUTOR Senior-Sergeant. Edwards, who has been a prosecuting police officer at Auckland for the past three years, made his last appearance at the Auckland Police Court yesterday afternoon. He is leaving on Sunday for Wellington. where he will take charge of the police training depot. Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., who was on the bench, said that, on behalf of the Auckland magistrates, he wished to express regret, at Mr. Edwards's departure. and thank him for the assistance that he had at all times given. Mr. J. H. Luxford, on behalf of the Bar, paid a tribute to the fair and accurate manner in which Mr. Edwards conducted his cases.
