SHOCK FOLLOWS ATTEMPTED SUICIDE
OLD MAN’S DEATH Press Association. GISBORNE, To-day. At the inquest on Thomas Mclntyre, aged 65 years, found dead in the Oval on Wednesday night, the coroner returned a verdict of heart failure following on extreme shock, brought about by an attempt to hang himself, which attempt was made while deceased was suffering from acute insomnia.
