PONSONBY CRUISING CLUB

AQUATIC BALL * The aquatic ball held by the Ponsonby Cruising Club last evening in > the Point Erin Tea Kiosk was a very bright and successful affair. The kiosk in its beautiful surroundings is ideal for dancing. Koyal blue and white streamers and ' the club pennons were used very effec- ' lively for decorations, and an original note was achieved by the suspension of miniature yacht models. Balloons and chic paper caps were , novelties introduced during the even- | ing, and the music, supplied by the "Boston Band." wearing the cutest of red jackets, was greatly appreciated by the dancers. A very popular feature of the evening was the excellent claret cup, which was perhaps partly responsible for the very cheery spirit of the dance. Supper was served on the shady verandas and looked very cool and inviting.
