WANTS TO BE REINSTATED
AUCKLAND RUGBY REP. THE FINLAYSON CASE An event which caused no little surprise in League Rugby circles, and possibly a certain amount of consternation among hard-and-fast supporters of the parent code of Rugby, was the unexpected appearance of Angus son, the Auckland Rugby representative. at Carlaw Park recently. Fin'layson made a lastminute appearance for the Richmond Club, and played
no small part in that team’s victory in the Roope Rooster final. A sequel Was heard at last night’s meeting of the Auckland Rugby Union, when an application was received for the reinstatement of Finlayson. It was decided to forward the application to the New Zealand Rugby Union, with a favourable recommendation.
