J SUN'S Special Reporter.) WAIUKU, To-day. “If elected I will at the next general election put my name in the hat with any others seeking Reform nomination.” said the Reform candidate, Mr.. A. H. Waring, speaking; at Aka Aka yesterday. COMMENTING upon the statement the Prime Minister, . Mr. Coates, said that the offer, although unnecessary, was a sporting one and characteristic of the man. Evidently Mr. Waring felt compelled tc allow others who had sought Reform nomination on this occasion to have further consideration. Yesterday evening the Prime Minister addressed 800 electors at Waiuku on behalf of Mr. Waring’s candidature before -returning to Wellington to-day.
