ENGINEERS’ UNION’S SUCCESS (Special to THE SUN.) NEW PLYMOUTH, To-day. The Arbitration Court, over which Mr. Justice Frazer presided, extended the motor mechanics’ Dominion award, the tinsmiths’, coppersmiths’ and sheetmetal workers’ Dominion award, and the engineers' Dominion award to Taranaki. The New Plymouth Borough Council was exempted from the first-named and also the Vacuum Oil Company, which employs no mechanics in Taranaki. A painters’ and decorators’ award for Taranaki was made in terms of the recommendations submitted.
