CONCENTRATED EFFORT Press Association. WELLINGTON, To-day. The following Navy press service news item was received from Washington on Tuesday by a wireless amateur: —“The United States Navy will not ask for appropriations to carry on for an American entry in the Schneider Cup race of next year, as a result of the English victory today,” said the Secretary of the Navy, Mr. Dwight Wilbur. “It is pointed out that toe British did not enter the race last year, but have concentrated all their efforts during the past two years for this race to-day.”
