ASSISTANT MANAGERS MEET GRADING COMPETITION About 40 assistant managers of Auckland provincial dairy factories met in the Auckland Farmers’ Freezing Company’s stores this morning for °P ( ning of a conference. They were welcomed by Mr. 'll. Harris, president of the Dairy Factory Managers’ Association, and by Mr. j. R. Mackgill, chairman of directors of the Auckland Farmers* Freezing Company. Mr. J. P. Stewart, on behalf of Mr. ‘ Thornton, chief Government grader, also exhorted them to have a good look around and to ask all the questions they wished. This morning was devoted to grading con petitions, the conference beginning this afternoon.
