N.S.W. FIRMER WAIHIS WEAKER The market to-day remains quiet, few sales being recorded. Bank of Australasia still command a good figure, with buyers .£l4 14s, no sellers appearing. Bank of New South Wales are firming and sales have been recorded at £43 10s. All insurances are quiet and little business has been done in these stocks. Timber shares remain depressed, with few buyers quoting. The mining market is lifeless, with the exception of Waihis, which are still selling at slightly reduced prices.
