PUKEKOHE WATER SUPPLY

PROPOSED LOAN At the meeting of the Pukekohe Borough Council last night it was decided to take steps to raise a loan of £ 5.500 for thes purpose of laying fourinch water mains where required in the borough, and for increasing the capacity of the reservoir at Roose’s Bush from 100,000 to 300,000 gallons. It is anticipated that it will only be necessary to spend the sum of £3,500 at present, while the balance will provide for future requirements.
