DEVELOPING OKETE The Hamilton Community Camp Association last night passed a resolution authorising the trustees to complete the purchase of 14 acres comprising Camp Fergusson, at Okete near Raglan, and to raise a loan of £9OO free of interest for five vears, the trustees’ signatures to be collateral security. This marks the culmination of efforts to secure a permanent community seaside camp and the campaign for funds will shortly oe inaugurated to wipe off the liability on the land, which is valued at £I,OOO, and improvements valued at about £2OO have been effected, while there is an accumulated fund of £227. The first annual report records a progressive year, and prospects are very encouraging. Hr. F. M. Spencer was re-elected president of the association.
