MILITARY BOXING
MORE PRELIMINARIES SOME GOOD BOUTS The boxing tournament of the Auckland Military Sports Association was continued last night before a good attendance of the public, cadets and territorial. Thirty-five bouts were staged. The use of a loud-speaker for announcing the bouts was greatly appreciated by the spectators and officials. The feather-weight bout between Mason and Pearson, and the welterweight contest between Price and O'Dell were the most interesting and willing: contests of the evening. F Fraei and A. Rounds, light-weights, and Alens and Anderson also gave clever displays. Air. T. Samson tvus the referee. The results are as follow: CADETS’ DIVISION Light-heavy-weight. —li.
