PAKURANGA HUNT CLUB
BLANK DAY AT CLEVEDON The Pakuranga Hunt Club journeyed to Clevedon yesterday in a vain search i'or hares. Commencing a round-up in the morning, the hounds worked the fiat country, and were not able to sight a quarry of any sort. An adjournment was made for morning tea. after which another unsuccessful hunt was made for the elusive bunny. Afternoon tea was kindly provided by the good people of Clevedon and surrounding country. This, by the way. is the first blank day which the hunt has suffered, the supposition being that the hares had taken to the hilly country on account of the very wet weather experienced lately.
