SUBURBAN CRICKET
UMPIRES REVIEW PAST YEAR COOD YEAR’S WORK The annual meeting of the Auckland Suburban Umpires’ Association was held on Monday evening, Mr. Molloy presiding over a large attendance. The oiairman referred appreciatively to the fact that there were now 27 acting umpires, which was a distinct improvement on past seasons. The balance sheet showed a credit of £4 7s 6d. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. Molloy; vice-presidents. Messrs. H. Johnston, Butler, Price, Von de Hyd : secretary and treasurer, H. L. Claud et: committee, Messrs. Lutener, Butler, Price, E. JH. Brown: delegate to A.5.0.A., Mr. Molloy; delegate to J'.M.C.. Mr. Butler; examination committee. Messrs. Price, Butler, Claudet: tmergerey committee, Messrs. Molloy, Von de Hyde, Claudet. Messrs. Woods, City Tramways. and O’Grady were elected members. Messrs. Stallworthy and Mahoney addressed the meeting on matters concerning the association. It was decided that the first meeting of the committee should be held on October 11.
