FRANCE TO ARGENTINE EIGHT DAYS IN TRANSIT By Cubic.—Press Association.—Copyright LONDON. Sunday. The Paris correspondent- of “The Times” says the Government, has grantee, to an aviation company £50,00i) with £314,000 in subsequent years, in connection with a mail service which will begin on October 15. The airplanes will he used on the Cape Verde-Fernando Noronha route, and the conveyance of passengers may subsequently be authorised. The company must provide repair and rescue stations throughout the route. It is also stipulated that the airplanes must either be equipped with wireless, which can be used after a forced descent, or must be provided with carrier pigeons. Letters which now take 25 days to reach Buenos Aires from France, should be delivered in eight days by the new service.—Times.
