Auckland Amusement Park.—An optimistic tone prevailed at the annual meeting of shareholders in the Auckland Amusement Park, Ltd., held yesterday. The balance sheet, disclosing a satisfactory year, has already been published in THE SUN. Mr. H Halliday, of Dunedin, sounded a note of warning. He considered a greater gross profit should have been made the first year, and urged conservatism. On the motion of Mr. A. G. Lunn, the dire?tors were voted an aggregate remuneration of £TS«). The retiring directors. Messrs. J. R. McKenzie, of Wellington, and H IL Hayward, of Auckland, were re-elected. Preserving Home Markets. —The Victorian Millowners’ Association takes a serious view of the amended duties on flour in New Zealand, states a Melbourne exchange.
