NOT APPRECIATED

THE decision of the Management Committee in connection with the Rail ways-Thistle match is not finding much appreciation from local supporters of the Soccer code, more particularly the referees, whose services are given freely in the interests of the game. If referees are to be abused and comoelled to defend themselves with their fists they might at least have the support of the association when up against uneven odds. However, as the inquiry was held in committee comment on the verdict is perhaps odious, no evidence being available to the Press, which was, however, promptly advised of the finding.
