GANGERS’ NARROW ESCAPE IN TUNNEL
OVERTAKEN BY TRAIN Three railway gangers riding on a trolley i:a a tunnel south of TJtiku, near Taihupe,. were overtaken by a ballast train. Jumping off the trolley the men just Biant.ged to lie flat against the tunnel •ide as the train thundered past. All ecc&ped injury, but the trolley v/as vreefced.
