BIT HIS TONGUE
IN the friendly match between H.M.S. Diomede and North Shore on Saturday, one of the Diomede's players, Darby, met with a rather painful accident. He was thrown heavily and the shock of falling drove his teeth into his tongue. The wound bled copiously, and after the bleeding had been stopped the injured player returned to his ship, the team finishing the game with 14 players.
