ODD GOAL VICTORIES Ponsonby Wins Chatham Cup SATURDAY furnished one of the Soccer surprises of the season when Y.M.C.A. defeated the champions, Thistle, by the odd goal in seven after a hard game. Ponsonby won the Chatham Cup in Wellington from Northern (Otago) by the odd goal in five, after leading by three to nil at half-time.
