BRADFORD TOPS Spinners are showing rather more interest in the market. Crossbreds are firm and Merinos rather easier. Sixtyfour’s are quoted at 4s 2d a lb.; 60’s, 3s 9£d: 56’s, 2s Hid; 50’s, 2s 4d; 46’s, Is lOJd; 40’s, Is 9d. WOOL At the London wool sales there was a fine selection of Merinos and New Zealand slipes. There was a limited supply of other sorts. There was very keen competition and a splendid tone. Prices were fully maintained. The following New Zealand clips were sold at the prices given:—Howard, 24£d to 23d; Murchison, 45d to 43d. RABBITSKIN SALES At the rabbitskin sales 3,250 bales were offered and 1,300 sold. # The demand was very poor, Americans* not competing. Hatters’ sorts were 10 per cent, below July and furriers’ sorts 5 per cent. WHEAT, FLOUR AND PULSE Wheat.—Corgoes freer. Offers from Manitoba and Vancouver lower. American advices and reports of rain in Australia dulled the market, which is 3d lower. Parcels are slow at 3d decline. Liverpool futures: October, 10s 2Jd a cental; December, 10s 3£d; March, 10s 3Jd; May, 10s 2d. The spot trade is dull. Australian, ex ship, 54s 6d. Flour.—Quiet. Australian, ex store, 39s to 39s 6d. Oats and Peas.—Steady. Beans.—Quiet. —A. and N.Z. FEILDING STOCK VALUES Press Association. FEILDING, Friday. At the Feilding stock sale to-day there was a large entry of fat stock and a fall in prices was experienced. A small entry of store sheep met with good competition. Fat hoggets reached 22s 6d to 24s 9d; shorn fat ewes, lS's 3d to 18s 6d; fat wethers, 31s lOd to 32s 6d; fat maiden ewes, 27s 6d to 30s 6d; fat ewes, 24s to 275; fat and forward ewes, 20s 6d to 21s lOd; black-face hoggets, 21s; medium hoggets, 18s 9d to 21s; ewe hoggets, 2Ss 3d; mixed sex hoggets, 30s; ewes and lambs, 34s lOd to 38s 6d. Good quality dairy stock sold well above late rates. Springing heifers made £9 to £ll 10s; springing cows, £7 6s to £11; light fat heifers, £4 15s 6d; fat heifers, £6 17s 6d; fat cows, £5 19s to £S 10s; two-year Jersey bulls, £lO 15s; veariing Jersey bulls, £5 to £5 15s; store bullocks, £8 7s; yearling Jersey heifers, £3 4s to £3 10s.
