Wash-house Ablaze. —A wash-house adjoining a house occupied by Mrs. Woodlock at Ellerslie was badly damaged by lire last evening. When Mrs. Woodlock returned home at 10.30 p.m. the room was burning furiously and but for the efforts of two neighbours, the whole house would have been destroyed. The brigade soon extinguished the outbreak.
