LADIES AT HAMILTON SEMI-FINAL RESULTS HAMILTON, Thursday. Conditions were not so good to-day for the semi-finals of the Hamilton ladies’ open golf championship. Rain fell in the mornin, and a high wind did not help in the afternoon. The results were: Miss Payton, Rotorua, beat Mrs. Ferguson, Auckland, 3 and 2. Mrs. Mander, Hamilton, beat Mrs. Marshall, Auckland, 7 and 5. Both the winners played good golf. Miss Payton did an 82 against Mrs. Wilson in the morning. A senior medal handicap played in the morning was won by Miss M. Mackenzie, with a card of 92—19, 73. Other best cards were:—Miss K.
