BRIGHT DANCE AT BAYSWATER Under the management of Jlr. and Mrs. Dryland, the clubhouse, Bayswater, was the scene last evening of one of the most enjoyable dances held over the water this season. The dance was called the “Look Who’s Here jazz. Mr. Clyde Howley, of Dixieland fame, and his International Band, were responsible for the complete success of the evening. . , . . , Large orange and silver light shades were used with balloons and streameis for decorations, and various coloured lighting effects were thrown across the painted canvas walls. Guests were received by Mr. and Mrs. Dryland as host and hostess. Mrs. Dryland wore a charming apricot georgette model frock beaded in silver. Among the ladies present were: Mrs. Lidguard, gown of ecrue lace worn over blush-rose satin-russe. Mrs. H. Lindsay, black pleated georgette model. . _ - Mrs. Lock, frock of rose pink crepe de chine and black satin. Mrs. Inkster, black satin and lace gown. Mrs. Bach, model of French grey maroMrs. Anderson, dainty frock of frilled ecru net with flame velvet relief. Mrs. Cook, Spanish brown marocain gown. _ Mrs. Mcßae, flame velvet embossed gown. Mrs. Waterhouse, frock of cyclamen crepe de chine with silver thread French tracery. Mrs. Peters, nile green chenille embossed marocain gown. Mrs. Williams, black crepe de chine frock beaded in crystal. Mrs. Johnson, black chiffon velvet model. Miss E. Hill, petunia crepe de chine frock. Miss L. Hill, ivory georgette frock with relief of apple green. Miss L. Poison, maize crepe de chine gown with diamante trimming. Miss T. Poison, frock of shell pink taffeta with silver beading. Miss N. Quayle, gown of flame crepe de chine and gold lace,. Miss E. Bishop, two-toned frock of mauve crepe de chine. Miss E. Lock, ecru lace frock and rose sash, worn over blue georgette. Miss Halloway, bouffants frock of ross taffeta. Miss Flowerday, dainty gown of flame georgette. Miss A. Buchanan, model of lilac satinrusse. Miss O. Buchanan, peacock blue taffeta frock with cerise and silver relief. Miss Ayton, mauve crepe de chine frock with diamond-studded ecru lace. Miss D. Rentoul, maize georgette gown. Miss I. Binley, frock of cyclamen crepe de chine and silver lace. Miss N. Walker, dainty gown of sapphire blue georgette with blush-rose relief. Miss K. Phelan, turquoise blue taffeta frock with transparent hem of silver lace. Miss Scott, mandarin blue satin-russe gown with rose velvet relief. Miss Nolan, frock of Princess Mary blue georgette and silver lace. Miss E. Latimer, French grey and pink georgette gown. Miss J. Latimer, frock of ivory satin and tulle. Miss K. Hickey, sage green chiffon velvet model. Miss Pollock, gown of turquoise blue taffeta with floral relief in coral pink. Miss Farquhar, lavender crystal beaded georgette frock. Miss Graham, delphinium blue georgette frock. Miss Odelle, gown of black chiffon velvet. Miss C. Loughlan, frock of lilac satin. Miss Hall, rose taffeta frock with silver gauze transparent hem.
