YOUNG CLERK’S THEFTS COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE When Thomas Vining Gallagher, aged 22, was in charge of the books of the Mercantile and General Insurance Company between July 21 and September 13, he converted £lOl to his own use. He appeared at the Police Court yesterday afternoon, and, admitting guilt, was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence.
