BUSINESS PROMOTION
NEW MARKET SOCIETY The annual meeting of the Newmarket Business Promotion Society, held last evening, was well attended. It was decided to register the society. The following officers were elected: President, Mr. A. Kent, J.P.; vicepresident, Mr. Kirkpatrick; treasurer, Mr. H. Wilson (town clerk); secretary and organiser, Mr. S. Lean, J.P. The enthusiasm displayed at the meeting augurs well for the success of the society.
