A BRIDGE EVENING

AT REMUERA Mrs. F. IT. Hulbert, of R muera Road, was the hostess at a delightful little bridge party last evening. The reception rooms w ere charmingly decorated with large bowls of glowing 1 Iceland poppies, and looked particularly attractive. Mrs. Hulbert received her guests in an attractive frock of floral ninon in tones of poppy red and delphinium blue with effective inset bands of black Chantilly lace. Mrs. Hulbert’s guests included:—Mr. and Mrs. R. J. Laird, Mr. and Mrs C Jones, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Max-. Mrs C. Hardley, Miss B. Patterson. Miss V. Goldwater, Miss Helen Montague and Messrs. Bob Telford and R. Brierley.
