CABLE STEAMER SAILS.—The Pacific Cable Board’s steamer Iris left Auckland this morning for Norfolk Island to repair a fault in the Norfolk Island - Suva portion of the cable. The fault is located about eight miles from Nonfolk Island, and if good weather is experienced. the Iris should arrive back at Auckland in about a week’s time.
