MARKET QUIET WAIHIS FIRM A quiet tone prevails on the ’Change. Only restricted business is recorded. .Banking and insurance shares are quiet and mostly idle. Coals are in good tone, but steady buyers are mostly well below sellers’ idea of the market. In the miscellaneous section Auckland Amusement Park continue to com - mand attention on a market with a firming tendency. British Tobacco have been done at 57s 3d.
