DUMBLANE SOLD
PROMISING TWO-YEAR-OLD The negotiations that have been in progress for the purchase of the Ellerslie-trained two-year-old Dumblane are stated to have been completed. It is said that the price ran to four figures. The purchaser of the Leighton— Flora McDonald gelding is understood to be Mr. G. J. Barton, of Dunedin, who races Arpent and Royal Head.
